On April 19, 2023, a blood donation camp in memory of the late Hirendranath Gomasta was held at the football ground of Media Kishore Sangha Club. Organized by Gobardanga Seba Farmers’ Samity and supported by the West Bengal Voluntary Blood Donors Forum, the event saw a large turnout of people, especially young men and women, despite the intense heat. The camp began at 10 AM, with volunteers from the West Bengal Voluntary Blood Donors Forum being warmly welcomed with Uttaria and flowers by Gobinda Lal Majumdar, the secretary of Gobardanga Seba Farmers’ Samity, and president Himadri Gomasta.

Despite the scorching heat, people lined up to register for the camp, eager to support those in need. Gobardanga Seba Farmers’ Samity expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the donors. Volunteers from the association also actively participated in this noble cause, ensuring everything ran smoothly for the attendees. A total of 50 people donated blood that day. The program concluded around 3 PM, marking a successful event.
