On April 11, 2023, three important events were organized at Banprastha Seba Ashram through Gobardanga Seva Farmers’ Samity and with the cooperation of the Rotary Club of Aabahamaan. These events included free eye check-ups and distribution of spectacles for the general public, cervical cancer screenings for women, and educational programs for elderly women.

 Rotarian Vivek Kundu and other Rotarians were warmly welcomed by Mrs. Pratima Chakraborty, the Treasurer of Seva Farmers’ Samity. The inaugural speech was delivered by the Secretary of Seba Farmers’ Samity, Gobinda Lal Majumdar. Rotarian Vivek Kundu gave a special speech on Adult Literecy. The event started in the morning, and many people attended. There was a long queue for eye check-ups. Cervical cancer tests were conducted through Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute, and many women came forward for the tests. Volunteers from Seba provided full assistance to the general public. The villagers were very pleased with this initiative by Seba.
